2. Service and features
TillFox OS supports the subsequent entry, consolidation, review and presentation of existing operational and cash register data. Features may include daily totals, documents, bank deposits, cash expenses, vouchers, card checks, planning data, reports, exports and local backups. The offered App Store version determines the actual scope.
3. Not a cash register or accounting system
TillFox OS is not a TSE cash register and does not replace a legally required cash register system. Transactions must first be fully recorded in the business's compliant primary system. TillFox OS does not generate TSE receipts and is neither bookkeeping software nor an audit-proof GoBD archive. It does not replace retention duties, tax advice, legal advice or professional review.
TillFox OS does not sell goods or vouchers and does not calculate or assign VAT. A tax rate stored by the user is solely information relating to gross values already recorded and changes neither amounts nor the cash balance. The cash-register system in use remains authoritative for tax treatment.
4. User responsibility
Users must check entries, calculations, OCR results, periods, tax rates, exports and reports before operational or legal use. Original records and required primary systems must be retained independently. Users are responsible for the lawful processing of employee, customer and document data and appropriate device access controls.
5. Synchronisation and backups
Data is processed locally and can be synchronised through Apple CloudKit in the private iCloud area of the signed-in Apple Account between compatible devices. This process may arrive with a delay and does not replace a backup. Users must create regular, current and verifiable backups and keep at least one copy outside the app folder. Create an extra backup before restoring, changing devices or making major corrections. Apple or the selected storage provider applies its own terms to iCloud, iCloud Drive or other destinations.
6. App Store purchase
Price, availability, supported devices, Family Sharing and any trial or promotional offer are determined solely by the current Apple App Store product page. Apple's terms and applicable law govern payment, invoices and refunds. This website does not state a binding price before release.
7. Availability and updates
Individual features may not be continuously available. Operating system changes, device properties or third-party services may require adjustments. Security, compatibility and bug-fix updates may be provided. Mandatory update and warranty rights remain unaffected.
8. Warranty and liability
Statutory warranty and liability rules apply. No limitation applies to intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, product liability or any mandatory law. Users remain responsible for professional verification of their operational, tax and cash register data.
9. Final terms
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. Consumers retain mandatory protection at their habitual residence. No exclusive jurisdiction is agreed with consumers. Invalid provisions do not affect the remaining terms to the extent permitted by law.
